At Big Bend Hospice, our RN On-Call team provides comfort, guidance, and expert nursing support during some of life's most important moments. As a PT RN On-Call, you'll serve as a trusted clinical resource for patients, families, caregivers, and staff throughout our eight-county service area during evenings, weekends, holidays, and urgent situations.

🩺 What You'll Do

✅ Provide after-hours nursing support, assessment, and telephone triage

✅ Respond to patient and family concerns with compassion and clinical expertise

✅ Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members

✅ Assist with symptom management, medication concerns, and urgent patient needs

✅ Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation

✅ Educate patients, caregivers, and families on disease progression and comfort-focused care

✅ Support quality hospice care through collaboration, communication, and sound clinical judgment

✅ Serve as a valuable clinical resource for patients, families, and fellow team members
