RN - PreOp - PACU - Part Time - Mercy SD

This is a Part Time (48 hours per 2 week pay period), benefited RN role. The shift will start between 9 or 10am and is located in the PreOp-PACU department at Mercy SD

As an RN in the Pre-Op/PACU you will be responsible for\:

• pre-anesthesia preparation and observation and maintenance during the procedure
• monitoring and caring for patients are they are coming out of sedation after surgery.

Other duties include\: Provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
