At Pomperaug Woods, we’re looking for a Nurse Supervisor (RN) for our 3pm-11am shift who brings both clinical excellence and leadership presence to every shift.

What You’ll Do (Your Shift, Your Leadership)

As Nurse Supervisor, you’ll take the lead on your assigned shift by:

• Overseeing nursing staff to ensure high-quality, individualized care
• Conducting resident assessments and ensuring care plans are followed
• Coordinating communication between residents, families, physicians, and staff
• Making staffing adjustments to maintain safe coverage
• Rounding regularly to ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment
• Responding quickly to clinical changes and emergencies
• Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations
• Supporting admissions, discharges, documentation reviews, and audits
• Acting as a key leader and resource for your team

You’ll also play a role in coaching, mentoring, and supporting staff development, helping create a strong and collaborative team environment.

What You Bring

• Active RN license in Connecticut
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation care
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
