The Village at Penn State, one of the area’s premier independent living communities, is hiring Full-Time and Per Diem RN Supervisors!
As an RN Supervisor, you’ll provide and oversee quality nursing care for our residents while supporting and coordinating our nursing team.
Shift Information
Full-Time: 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Per Diem/Pool: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM and/or 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, as needed
12-hour shifts
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate nursing staff and resident care
Provide quality nursing care and assist with activities of daily living
Administer medications and perform skilled treatments and procedures
Document resident care and contribute to health assessments and care plans
Address resident and family health and social concerns
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Current Pennsylvania RN license
At least 2 years of RN experience, including some medical/surgical experience
Long-term care and geriatric experience preferred
Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations, including OBRA requirements
Ability to supervise and coordinate nursing staff
Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable access to a vehicle
