RN Supervisor (Nights) | Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital (1824)

Job Purpose:
- The Registered Nurse Supervisor in Psychiatric care oversees nursing staff and ensures the delivery of high-quality consumer care within a behavioral health facility. This role involves managing clinical operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff during the assigned shift, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and procedures.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for consumers with mental health and substance use disorders
- Ensures continuity of care when admitting, discharging, referring, or transferring a consumer
- Supervises and implements admission protocols for services
- Administers and transcribe medications as ordered by the physician
- Must have functional knowledge of the Baker Act and Marchman Acts
- Proficiency in assessment and crisis intervention techniques.
- Managerial and supervisory skills are necessary
