RN Wellness Nurse

Job Purpose:
- The RN Wellness Nurse at PEACE VILLAGE is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and wellness of residents through comprehensive nursing care and health education. This role aims to enhance the quality of life for residents by providing personalized care plans and fostering a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough health assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize health outcomes for residents.
- Educate residents and their families about health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Monitor and document residents' health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Participate in wellness programs and initiatives designed to improve resident health and well-being.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to residents, addressing their health concerns and needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior nursing staff to uphold high standards of care.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with nursing practices and healthcare advancements.
