Road Transport Procurement Lead - Europe

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities within the Transport / Road Freight category.
• Identify and source new transport and logistics service providers.
• Analyze the European transport market and identify competitive solutions.
• Lead commercial and contract negotiations.
• Negotiate and execute agreements with suppliers.
• Develop and manage the carrier and supplier base.
• Optimize transport costs and fleet utilization.
• Work closely with warehouses, sites and other locations across Europe.
• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
• Cooperate with international procurement and business teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in transport procurement.
• Strong practical experience in road freight / FTL.
• Excellent knowledge of the European carrier and transport market.
• Proven experience in independently managing sourcing, negotiations and contracting.
• Ability to identify and onboard new suppliers and manage the process end-to-end.
• Knowledge of transport cost optimization and fleet utilization.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• High level of independence, ownership and initiative.
• Fluent English.
