Description
- Design advanced mechanical capabilities, including the development of complex mechanisms such as multi-DOF robotic systems, dexterous hands, and customized robotic grippers.
- Design single-arm and dual-arm robotic systems, with hands-on experience in non-standard grippers, fixtures, and quick-tool-change mechanisms.
- Manage the developing mechanical parts and fixtures, producing detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure quality and delivery schedules.
- Proficiency in tolerance analysis and the application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure mechanical component interchangeability and assembly precision.
- Responsible for the technical selection, specification confirmation, procurement inquiry, and vendor evaluation of electromechanical components (including motors, drivers, linear guides, etc.).
- Responsible for the searching, selection, and technical implementation of required sensing components, such as vision, optics, force control, and tactile sensors.
- Designing and developing robots and peripheral automation equipment for industrial applications, focusing on mechanical component design, workspace layout, hardware integration, and the evaluation of necessary instrument.
- Performing mechanical simulation analysis and validation, including structural strength, stress distribution, and fatigue life assessment, and collaborating with software and electronic control teams for optimization testing.
- Possessing the ability for continuous learning and advancement, including reading, understanding, and performing technical analysis of scientific journal articles, technical reports, and patent literature.
- Familiarity with at least one mainstream 3D modeling software (e.g., Solidworks, Autocad, Pro/E, Inventor), and ability to write manuals for mechanism assembly, risk assessment reports, operation, and system maintenance.
