Salary: ฿55,000 – ฿70,000 per month

About the role

As a Robotics & AI Engineer at ZONEFLY CO., LTD., you will develop and deploy state-of-the-art computer vision and deep learning systems for object detection, tracking, scene understanding, sensor fusion, and real-time visualization. This is a hands-on technical role spanning the entire product lifecycle—from raw dataset creation and architecture design to onboard edge deployment, simulation, field testing, and flight/navigation integration. You will work alongside top-tier robotics, controls, and software engineers to deploy real-time intelligence on actual operational hardware.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, train, and deploy deep learning models for object detection, target classification, semantic segmentation, and multi-object tracking under real-time constraints.

  • Build visual localization, scene understanding, and multi-sensor fusion systems combining camera feeds with complementary sensors (LiDAR, IMU, GNSS).

  • Enhance model robustness against environmental variables including lighting shifts, weather degradation, viewpoint distortion, and low-contrast conditions.

  • Build, clean, and manage training datasets; oversee data annotation pipelines and strict quality control protocols.

  • Optimize, quantize, and compile deep learning models for edge platforms and onboard computing units operating with strict memory and power budgets.

  • Benchmark and evaluate perception algorithms in both simulated environments and real-world field test conditions.

  • Develop real-time operator dashboards, telemetry visualization tools, and Human–Machine Interaction (HMI) interfaces for mission control.

  • Render live camera feeds, sensor overlays, spatial maps, trajectory vectors, object boundaries, and autonomous behavior states onto unified operator UIs.

  • Integrate perception and decision-making feedback loops directly with autonomous navigation and flight control subsystems.

About you

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building, training, and deploying computer vision or deep learning systems in production or hardware environments.

  • Strong proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or OpenCV, alongside strong C++ and Python development skills.

  • Proven track record deploying AI models onto edge hardware (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, ARM-based platforms) using TensorRT, ONNX, or similar optimization toolkits.

  • Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal).

  • Familiarity with ROS / ROS 2, SLAM, visual odometry, and spatial localization algorithms (preferred).

  • Hands-on experience integrating and processing multi-modal sensor suites (LiDAR, thermal, IMU, GNSS) (preferred).

  • Experience with MLOps workflows: experiment tracking (Weights & Biases, MLflow), model versioning, and automated deployment pipelines (preferred).

  • Knowledge of incremental or continual learning methodologies for real-time edge updates (preferred).

  • Background in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), robotics, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), or defense electronics (preferred).

About us

At ZONEFLY CO., LTD., we build autonomous systems that perceive, interpret, and act in real time. We test on real hardware in real conditions. We rely on verified data, rigorous performance metrics, and clear engineering documentation. We operate with flat hierarchies and direct communication, where engineering challenges are communicated with facts, code, and structured data. We maintain the highest standards of IP security and software integrity.
