Robotics Engineering Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced robotics solutions addressing complex real-world challenges at scale. Working within SoftServe’s Robotics Group, you will operate at the intersection of applied engineering, system architecture, and client delivery, driving technical excellence and shaping the direction of robotics initiatives across industries.

- Strong experience (8+ years) in robotics software development, including real-time systems
- Expert-level proficiency in C/C++ and Python
- Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2 and robotic visualization tools such as RViz
- Practical knowledge of mobile robots, drones, AGVs, AMRs, or autonomous systems
- Experience with simulation and rendering tools such as Gazebo, Nvidia Isaac Sim, Bullet, or Blender
- Deep understanding of robotics domains, including perception, SLAM, trajectory planning, kinematics, and obstacle avoidance
- Experience with GPU acceleration (CUDA) and libraries such as OpenCV and PCL
- Strong background in system architecture design, including real-time constraints, modularity, and data flow
- Experience with sensor and actuator integration and a solid understanding of control systems
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments with strong scripting and automation skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production-grade deployment practices
- Proven leadership experience, including mentoring engineers and managing delivery pipelines
- Strong communication skills, with experience presenting technical concepts to clients and stakeholders
- Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency
