Summary
Build and test software for industrial robotics systems, focusing on motion control, path planning, and hardware integration using Python, C++, or ROS.
About the role
Work with senior robotics developers, product managers and software engineers to help build and test the software that powers Augmentus' advanced robotic systems for industrial automation. Contribute to motion control, path planning and integration between software, robots and sensors. (Scoped from the live Robotics Developer role at intern level.)
**The ideal candidate can start as soon as possible. (ideally End of August/ Early September. Kindly state your earliest start date and the duration.
About your role
- Develop and test new features for robotic systems.
- Participate in the whole development cycle including design, development, and deployment.
- Application of software product onto real-world industrial environment.
- Product discovery and evaluation of emerging technologies for robotic use cases.
Requirements
- Strong interest and passion for robotics and automation.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and/or system engineering.
- Open to travel to industrial environment and learn about real-world applications.
- Some experience with Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to Confluence and/or Jira.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
