Summary

Join the R&D team of an early-stage robotics company building software for AI-driven robots in production environments. You'll work across the full robotics stack — firmware/embedded systems, motion planning, ML pipelines, perception, and cloud infrastructure — with core tools including Python, ROS, Docker/Kubernetes, and some TypeScript/React.

About the Role

Join the R&D team at an early-stage robotics company building software for AI-driven robots operating in real production environments. You will work across the robotics stack, from embedded systems to cloud infrastructure, helping deliver reliable systems with direct impact on physical operations.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate real-time robot software, motion-planning optimization systems, and machine learning pipelines across platforms.

  • Build and maintain data-labeling interfaces, perception systems, and compilers for robot intelligence.

  • Work across firmware, robotics software, and cloud infrastructure to solve high-priority engineering challenges.

  • Collaborate with teammates to design and ship software that improves robot capabilities.

  • Deploy software in production facilities and evaluate its performance in real-world use.

What We're Looking For

  • One to three years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems.

  • Experience building and shipping software for physical robotic systems used in production or by customers, with ownership of engineering outcomes end to end.

  • Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in Python; experience with TypeScript and React is a plus.

  • Hands-on experience with production robotics systems and hardware-software integration.

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, systemd, ROS, motion planning, or robot optimization is valued.

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.

  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment and adapting to changing priorities.

Compensation & Benefits
