Robotics Support Officer
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Robotics Support Officer to support robotics education and student development in an MOE school. The successful candidate will manage the school's robotics resources, conduct robotics training for students and staff, prepare students for robotics competitions, and support innovative teaching and learning initiatives.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience coaching robotics in schools who enjoy working with children and inspiring the next generation of innovators.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the school's robotics inventory, including asset tracking, stock-taking, equipment loans, and returns.
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the Innovation Studio.
- Conduct robotics lessons, workshops, and training sessions for students and staff.
- Prepare robotics lesson materials, presentation slides, and instructional handouts.
- Coach, guide, and accompany students participating in external robotics competitions.
- Research and recommend new robotics technologies and tools to enhance teaching and learning.
- Liaise with robotics vendors and external partners when required.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Head of Department (Science).
- Assist with ad hoc duties assigned by the HOD Science, including video or photo editing when required.
Requirements
- Must be MOE-registered.
- Minimum 1 year of experience coaching Robotics to both children and adults.
- Experience coaching students for Robotics competitions.
- Competent in Robotics-related fields.
- Certified in building-block robotics platforms (e.g. LEGOยฎ Education or equivalent).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about mentoring and inspiring students.
