ROOF TILER
- Inspecting roofs for structure, damage, and potential leaks before starting work.
- Measuring, marking, and cutting tiles or panels to fit irregular spaces and edges.
- Mixing and applying bedding mortar or adhesive and securing tiles with nails or clips as required.
- Installing underlayment, flashing, ridge caps, and drip edges to prevent water intrusion.
- Aligning and spacing tiles for uniform appearance and optimal performance.
- Cleaning surfaces, removing debris, and sealing joints to extend roof life.
- Repairing damaged tiles and sections of roofing as needed during maintenance projects.
- Coordinating with general contractors, electricians, and other trades on site.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and safety gear, and reporting any hazards.
