Rotating forklift shifts

About the role

At Marlex People, we collaborate with a large company in the food sector that is looking to hire a warehouse assistant with forklift experience for its workplace in Sant Pere Molanta.

What you'll do

• Loading and unloading goods.
• Location and organization of goods in the warehouse.
• Order preparation.
• Supply of material to the warehouse.
• Use of forklift, pallet jack, and PDA terminals to carry out daily tasks.

What we're looking for

• Specific training: Valid counterbalance forklift and pallet jack license. It is essential that it includes both theoretical and practical training. The corresponding certificate specifying this training must be attached before each start date.
• Experience: Prior experience and proficiency in using PDA terminals.
• Languages: Good level of spoken and written Spanish.
• Mobility: Own vehicle to travel to the workplace.
• Availability: Full availability to work in rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts, with rotation every two weeks.

Nice to have

• Active, dynamic, and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work in a team and organization.
• Tolerance to cold and comfort working in refrigerated or climate-controlled environments.

What you'll get

• Daytime rate: 10.64 €/h.
• Night rate: 11.95 €/h.
• Voluntary overtime rate: 14.19 €/h.

Saturdays: On a voluntary basis, availability is requested to work some Saturdays depending on service needs.

How you'll work

Shifts rotate every two weeks:

• Morning shift: from 6:00 h to 14:00 h.
• Afternoon shift: from 14:00 h to 22:00 h.
• Night shift: from 22:00 h to 6:00 h.

Initial training period: Onboarding will take place strictly on the afternoon shift for an estimated period of 1 to 2 months. Once training is completed, you will move to the indicated rotating shift system.
