Job Description:

• Prepares meals for skilled nursing, assistance & independent residents
• Assures that all food produced is of the highest quality and served at the proper temperatures and regarding proper sanitation requirements
• Cleans all production equipment and counters after each project and maintains proper sanitation in food production areas
• Attends daily staff meetings regarding food preparation
• All cooks will follow the standard recipes for all food preparation from the recipe book
• Committed to working with residents and families to develop and implement strategies that promote person-centered care.
• Applies “5 Star” customer service approach in all aspects of job.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
• Reports to the appropriate managers any known or suspected violations of policy and procedures, regulations or standards of conduct.
• Attends required in-services and training.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Senior-Living
• Serve Safe Certificate
