Description

Route Service Representative - Driver

Banbury

£32,162.54 per annum, plus Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, Employee Assistance Programme, Recommend a Friend Bonus Scheme and opportunities for training and development.

Due to an increase in business - always a good thing - our Banbury site is looking to recruit an additional Van Driver to join the team.

The key purpose of the role is to service uniform and ancillary products on a regular basis and ensure that the customers’ needs are met in a timely fashion. You will also be responsible for identifying leads and upselling our products/services.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week with the shift starting at 6.00 a.m.

Your new role:

  • Providing a regular, reliable and consistent service for our customers.
  • Relationship building with your customers to help deliver our business plan including seeking new customer opportunities within your territory and upselling.
  • Leading stock checks at customer sites.
  • Loading and unloading your vehicle in a safe manner.
  • Delivering to the customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and working towards KPI's.

What do I need to apply?

The key skill for this role, is an ability to build and maintain great relationships with customers, so experience in a customer-facing role is essential.

You will need to hold a valid UK CAT B driving licence (manual), and have had experience as a delivery driver, where multi drops were part of your day to day.

A Cat C / Class 2 license would be desirable for holiday cover and any absence (an additional skill payment would be provided) however this is not essential.

A good command of English is essential, both to be able to receive instructions in English and to speak with the customers, and we also require someone who can meet the physical needs of the job, which will include the demands of loading and unloading a vehicle. You will also need to have proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
