RPA Developer
Summary
Develops and maintains RPA bots using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator to automate business processes, integrating APIs and databases while ensuring scalability and compliance.
Job Purpose
The RPA Bot Developer will design, develop, and implement automated processes using UiPath to streamline business operations and improve efficiency. This role involves working closely with business analysts and process owners to translate requirements into robust, scalable automation solutions deployed via UiPath Orchestrator.
Key Responsibilities
Bot Development
- Design and develop RPA workflows using UiPath Studio.
- Build reusable components and libraries for automation.
- Ensure bots adhere to coding standards and best practices.
Requirement Analysis
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand process requirements.
- Conduct feasibility analysis for automation opportunities.
- Document technical specifications and process flows.
Testing & Deployment
- Perform unit testing and support UAT for bots.
- Deploy bots to UiPath Orchestrator environments (Dev, Test, Prod).
- Validate bot performance and handle post-deployment support.
Maintenance & Optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve bot issues in production.
- Optimize existing bots for performance and scalability.
- Maintain version control and update documentation.
Collaboration & Governance
- Work with Bot Administrators for scheduling and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and governance standards.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Key Relationships
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with UiPath Studio and Orchestrator.
- Knowledge of RPA lifecycle and best practices.
- Proficiency in .NET, VB, C#, or Python for custom activities.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, and database integration.
- Understanding of exception handling and logging frameworks.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in agile and collaborative environments.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in RPA development (UiPath preferred).
- UiPath Developer Certification is a plus.
