Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Commercial experience developing IBM i / RPG applications.
  • Experience maintaining and modernising business-critical applications.
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
  • RPG experience across multiple versions, including legacy and modern RPG.
  • ILE experience.
  • SQL experience.
  • CLP experience.
  • IBM i OS experience.
  • Query 400 and DFU experience.
  • Experience using an IDE such as VS Code or RDI.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, enhance, test and support applications for a wide range of customer projects.
  • Analyse business requirements and design effective software solutions.
  • Produce technical documentation for new developments and application enhancements.
  • Gain a strong understanding of client business processes and application landscapes to provide effective long-term support.
  • Manage software changes from requirements gathering through to implementation.
  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer to customers where appropriate.

This is a hybrid role based on client sites in Leeds and our office in Milton Keynes, with office attendance once a month. We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 to £65,000 plus bonus and benefits.
