Operations / Warehouse / RPPC

RPPC Associate

Reports to: RPPC Supervisor

Role overview

Perform the receiving, putaway, picking, and assigned inventory-control work needed to move products through the warehouse accurately. Work under the Supervisor's and Lead's direction, supporting the earlier picking workload and the later emphasis on receiving and putaway. Repeated associate seats use this same role. Packaging, labeling, and carrier loading remain Shipping responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Check incoming vendor products and quantities against receiving information. Complete assigned receiving steps and report discrepancies, damage, or missing information to the Supervisor or Lead.
  • Place inventory in the assigned storage locations and follow location procedures. Support directed storage changes and put away approved customer returns after Returns has completed the inventory update.
  • Pick the correct products and quantities for customer orders and deliver them to the designated shipping stage. Report missing stock or location problems rather than substituting or guessing.
  • Perform assigned cycle counts, location checks, and discrepancy-research tasks. Record findings accurately and bring differences forward for review rather than independently authorizing inventory adjustments.
  • Move between receiving, picking, putaway, and other assigned RPPC work as priorities change. Follow instructions for product transfers and photography routing, keeping product identity and destination clear.

What success looks like

Receipts, putaway, picks, and counts are accurate. Orders reach staging promptly, problems are reported before they create further errors, and the employee works effectively across the changing daily workload.
