RPR Project Administrator

The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking a Project Administrator to join our Aviation Construction Management team. This position will work outdoors on active airport construction projects at large hub and commercial service airports. As part of the construction management team, you'll play a critical role in delivering complex aviation infrastructure projects that support the safe and efficient operation of airport facilities. You'll serve an integral role in the firm by performing inspections and assisting in all phases of routine to moderately complex aviation construction projects, with the potential to direct and lead other inspectors, if assigned. This position will ensure detailed and accurate records of work performed are collected and maintained; verify that materials incorporated into the project are sampled and tested in accordance with contract requirements; monitor contractor compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards; and coordinate closely with airport authorities, airlines, FAA stakeholders, clients, contractors, and project team members to facilitate successful project delivery while minimizing impacts to ongoing airport operations.

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have experience in project administration and construction inspection for aviation, transportation, or other vertical and horizontal infrastructure projects. Experience supporting airport, airfield, terminal, landside, or related aviation facilities is preferred.
• Have a valid driver's license, be insurable, and be able to safely operate a vehicle on airport facilities and active construction sites.
• Have a passion for working outdoors and a tolerance for exposure to varying weather and environmental conditions.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with airport personnel, clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders.
