What You'll Do:
The Nutrien Rural Finance team empowers our retail business with flexible payment options, leading to portfolio growth over the past five years. As we continue to expand our market-leading NPay service, we’re seeking a motivated professional with corporate farming experience to drive further portfolio growth.
Flexibility on location within Queensland for the right candidate. Key responsibilities include:
- Formulating and executing a territory sales plan that supports the strategic growth plans of the business.
- Developing relationships through a high standard of engagement with business partners across the branch and agency network.
- Growing the Nutrien Finance footprint for branches across customer segments within a designated geographic territory.
- Managing a portfolio of large finance transactions directly and autonomously, enabling retail sales to valued customers within a designated territory.
- Maintaining and enhancing the credit risk profile and profitability of a loan portfolio.
- Communicating and promoting Nutrien Finance products (including NPay) to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Delivering exceptional service and solutions for customers through strong engagement with the retail network.
What You'll Bring:
You will have proven experience in sales and business development within agribusiness, with the ability to engage a network in delivering finance solutions to customers. Additional requirements:

Experience in agribusiness banking will be highly regarded, particularly where it includes exposure to livestock lending and the cattle industry. An understanding of the commercial drivers, seasonal cycles and financing needs of livestock enterprises will be viewed favourably during the assessment process.
- Strong commercial acumen and a drive to achieve financial outcomes.
- A goal-oriented, self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience engaging with the large corporate farming sector (highly regarded).
- Willingness and ability to travel regionally within the QLD network, with flexibility around location for the right candidate.
- Passion for the agricultural industry; experience in retail and/or agricultural sectors.
- A current, full driver's licence.
