[S&M] Room Reservation - Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
・Required Japanese and English speaking and written.
・High school diploma or GED; nice to have 1 year’ experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Room Reservation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Reservations Department, ensuring all reservation requests, amendments, and cancellations are handled accurately, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail.
The role delivers a personalized and seamless reservation experience through professional handling of telephone, email, and other guest communications, reflecting the hotel's luxury service standards.
The position manages reservation inquiries, verifies room availability and rates, communicates reservation policies, anticipates guest preferences, and ensures special requests are personalized and effectively coordinated. The Room Reservation Supervisor maximizes room revenue through strategic upselling and relationship-based selling while maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction, loyalty, and service excellence in accordance with LQA and Forbes standards.
Working closely with Sales & Marketing and operational departments, the role supports revenue generation, quality assurance initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
The Room Reservation Supervisor also assists the Room Reservation Assistant Manager/Manager with team development, training, and departmental projects while ensuring full compliance with company policies, procedures, and luxury hospitality standards.
