You will need to be confident working with senior leaders and professionals from a range of agencies, building relationships, influencing others and driving improvement across the partnership.

About usBuckinghamshire Council is a relatively new organisation that combines the strengths and expertise of the previous five councils in the county to create positive change for local people, communities, and businesses. We are firmly focused on the future and have made a clear commitment to serve residents better and to provide stronger representation for Buckinghamshire, both locally and nationally.
Buckinghamshire is an ambitious, rapidly growing county, and our economy is one of the strongest in the country. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and ranks as one of the top rural areas to live in the UK and yet it is incredibly well connected- only an hour from London on the train. The county has a rich history and heritage and is the birthplace of the international Paralympic movement.
We are looking for motivated, ambitious and inspiring people to join us on our journey. You will be entitled to a range of different benefits to make sure you are happy both at work and at home.
About the roleThis is a varied and rewarding role within the Safeguarding Partnerships Business Unit. While your primary focus will be supporting the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Board (BSAB), you will be part of a wider team that supports both the safeguarding children and adult partnerships across Buckinghamshire.
Working closely with the Safeguarding Partnerships Manager and Independent Chair, you will coordinate and lead partnership activity to ensure the Board meets its statutory duties and delivers against its priorities. You will oversee the work of the Board's sub-groups, support the development and delivery of strategic priorities, and work with partners across Buckinghamshire to drive continuous improvement.
A key part of the role will be coordinating Safeguarding Adult Reviews from referral through to publication, ensuring learning is shared effectively and translated into meaningful improvements in practice. You will also play a leading role in monitoring progress, tracking actions and supporting the partnership to evidence impact.
No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience of safeguarding, partnership leadership, strategic improvement and multi-agency working.
