As a Safety Administrator, you'll help keep our safety programs organized, compliant, and running smoothly. You'll work closely with field teams, supervisors, and safety leaders to track training records, maintain documentation, support reporting, and ensure our employees have the resources they need to work safely.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day will include a mix of administrative work, communication, reporting, and support for our safety programs.

Training & Compliance

  • Maintain employee safety training records and certifications
  • Track OSHA-required training and renewal dates
  • Assist with safety orientation paperwork for new hires
  • Support scheduling of safety training classes and meetings

Documentation & Reporting

  • Enter and maintain incident reports, near misses, inspections, and vehicle records
  • Organize and distribute safety reports and meeting documentation
  • Maintain safety files and compliance records
  • Assist with monthly safety metrics and reporting

Supporting the Field

  • Coordinate with project teams and field supervisors to collect required safety documentation
  • Assist with driver qualification files and fleet-related records
  • Support safety audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting activities
  • Participate in occasional jobsite visits as your experience grows

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will:

  • Keep safety training records accurate and up to date
  • Help ensure employees remain compliant with required certifications
  • Become a trusted resource for field leaders needing safety documentation
  • Support the Safety Department's reporting and compliance efforts
  • Build the knowledge and skills needed to advance into a Safety Coordinator role

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionalism and ability to handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Safety, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Previous experience in construction, electrical contracting, industrial environments, or administrative support
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and construction safety terminology
  • Experience maintaining records, databases, certifications, or training documentation
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, Power BI, or similar platforms
