As a Safety and Occupational Health Manager, you will perform the following duties: Manages a portfolio of national operational programs such as Collateral Duty Safety Officer (CDSO), Annual Safety Inspections, OSHA investigations, Program Assessments and Safety and Occupational Health Councils and Committees. Evaluates field safety and health program implementation. Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Designs and implements inspections and incident investigations utilizing the management information systems to accomplish OSH objectives and priorities established by statutes, executive orders, the Department, or executive leadership. Provides advice on work methods, practices, and procedures.
