Safety and Occupational Health Manager

About the Position: Serves as the Occupational Safety and Health Safety Program Manager for the 10th Regional Support Group (RSG) Okinawa, Japan and serviced Army activities in Japan.

Plan and administer the safety programs consistent with policies and directives established by the 10th Regional Support Group and Higher Headquarters.

Conduct promotional campaigns to stimulate interest in accident prevention.

Set safety goals and objectives IAW overall command policy and implements programs to insure they are achieved.

Manage troop safety program including explosives, tactical and exercise safety, systems safety, risk management, aviation safety, war planning and mission support, training, airborne operations, and accident investigation.

Procures and distributes to units/activities promotional and training literature.
