SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. You will serve as the installation subject matter expert and program manager for assigned operational, tactical, transportation, and off-duty safety programs under the general oversight of the Safety Director.

You will serve as the Alternate Program Manager and provide technical support and continuity for the following occupational safety and health programs administered by the Safety and Occupational Health Specialist.

You will support on-scene safety functions and formal mishap investigations by identifying contributing factors and assisting in the development of effective corrective action recommendations.

You will participate in safety stand-downs, safety councils, and command-level mishap review boards as required.

You will prepare and deliver formal classroom instruction, hands-on training, and safety briefings.
