Safety and Security Dispatcher

• Location: Anderson, IN

• Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Anderson

• Department/Specialty: Safety and Security

• Schedule: PRN

• Manages and responds to calls and/or alarms and initiates immediate response.
• Coordinates and/or dispatches staff in response to requests for service. Retrieves recorded documentation as required.
• Monitors the activities of persons on the premises by way of surveillance systems and communications.
• Initiates communication with team leader/manager when additional staffing support is necessary and assists with resolution of those issues.
• May be responsible and accountable for hiring, training, supervision and performance appraisals of security shift employees.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • None Required.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Security Guard.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
