Position Description:
Title: Safety Coordinator
Summary:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
Safety Program Coordinator
- JMI Safety Program Leader
- Safety management System
- Employee Coaching/Training - Curriculum Development
- Safety Management System
- Training system tracking
- Initial, Annual, Refresher, Specialized
- Safety Incident and Injury Tracking
- Incident Investigation – Root cause analysis
- Preventative approach
- Employee coaching
- Safety Policy Audit
- Routine Safety Inspections
Education & Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Takes initiative and is self-motivating
- Significant ability to multi-task
- Cal OSHA experience a plus
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Walk, kneel and climb ladders
- Carry 50lbs
