Safety Coordinator

You develop, implement, and enforce site-wide safety programs, conduct inspections and audits, investigate incidents, deliver training, maintain safety equipment, prepare reports, support budgeting, and respond to emergencies across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and SOPs
• Conduct site-wide inspections and audits
• Identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Serve as a safety subject matter expert
• Deliver and track safety training
• Facilitate equipment training and certification tracking
• Investigate injuries, near-misses, and safety incidents
• Determine root causes and enforce corrective actions
• Respond to site emergencies
• Inspect and maintain safety equipment
• Generate safety performance reports
• Evaluate safety gear and support annual budgeting

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years of relevant safety coordinating experience
• Understanding of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• CPR/First Aid, OSHA 10, or OSHA 30 certifications
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work around heat, noise, and vibrations
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb
• Ability to frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds
• Technical degree or further education in Safety preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience in data centers, shipping and receiving, or manufacturing preferred
