Safety Coordinator
You develop, implement, and enforce site-wide safety programs, conduct inspections and audits, investigate incidents, deliver training, maintain safety equipment, prepare reports, support budgeting, and respond to emergencies across the facility.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and SOPs
- Conduct site-wide inspections and audits
- Identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Serve as a safety subject matter expert
- Deliver and track safety training
- Facilitate equipment training and certification tracking
- Investigate injuries, near-misses, and safety incidents
- Determine root causes and enforce corrective actions
- Respond to site emergencies
- Inspect and maintain safety equipment
- Generate safety performance reports
- Evaluate safety gear and support annual budgeting
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant safety coordinating experience
- Understanding of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- CPR/First Aid, OSHA 10, or OSHA 30 certifications
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work around heat, noise, and vibrations
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb
- Ability to frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds
- Technical degree or further education in Safety preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in data centers, shipping and receiving, or manufacturing preferred
