Safety Coordinator (Construction)
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and company safety requirements.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
- Monitor workers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings.
- Prepare and maintain WSH documentation, reports, and safety records.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
- Support safety audits and promote continuous improvement.
- Perform other safety-related duties assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH with a valid refresher certificate.
- Work at Heights (WAH) Assessor and Risk Management certifications.
- Minimum 3 year of construction safety experience.
- Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Class 3 Driving License is an advantage.
