Safety Coordinator
Responsibility
Liaise closely with site operations staff, contractors and Project Managers on all safety matters.
Establish and maintain the company's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management system, ensuring compliance with Singapore's WSH legislation and relevant regulatory requirements.
Oversee the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, ensuring high-risk activities (e.g., lifting, working at heights) are properly authorized and risk assessments are communicated.
Be responsible for the development, updating, recording and management of WSH-related documents.
Be responsible for accident investigations, emergency drills and fire protection equipment inspections.
Organize safety training and safety inspections, follow up on hazard rectification, and supervise high-risk operations as well as contractor safety management.
Be responsible for ISO14001 and ISO45001 system audits, and coordinate WSH-related customer audits
Requirements
Minimum N-Level qualification or equivalent.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore-based construction projects.
Strong knowledge and understanding of workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements and control measures.
Possess a valid Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant certificate.
