Safety Coordinator

Responsibility

• Liaise closely with site operations staff, contractors and Project Managers on all safety matters.

• Establish and maintain the company's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management system, ensuring compliance with Singapore's WSH legislation and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Oversee the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, ensuring high-risk activities (e.g., lifting, working at heights) are properly authorized and risk assessments are communicated.

• Be responsible for the development, updating, recording and management of WSH-related documents.

• Be responsible for accident investigations, emergency drills and fire protection equipment inspections.

• Organize safety training and safety inspections, follow up on hazard rectification, and supervise high-risk operations as well as contractor safety management.

• Be responsible for ISO14001 and ISO45001 system audits, and coordinate WSH-related customer audits

Requirements

• Minimum N-Level qualification or equivalent.

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore-based construction projects.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements and control measures.

• Possess a valid Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant certificate.
