- Assist in implementing and maintaining workplace safety and health policies and procedures at the construction site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, work practices and potential hazards.
- Ensure workers comply with safety requirements, site rules and relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and site inductions for workers and site personnel.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper safety measures are implemented on site.
- Assist in investigating workplace incidents, accidents and near-misses, and prepare the necessary reports.
- Maintain and update safety records, inspection checklists, risk assessments, permits and other relevant safety documentation.
- Coordinate with site personnel, contractors and relevant parties on safety matters and follow up on corrective actions.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures for site activities.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
