Are you a safety expert with manufacturing experience? Our
client is looking for a Safety Coordinator to ensure regulatory compliance and
promote a secure workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure regulatory compliance and update safety
policies.
- Manage safety concerns, investigate accidents,
and assist injured employees.
- Foster positive employee relations and address
safety issues.
- Collaborate with the Worker’s Compensation
department.
- Demonstrate commitment to company values.
- Attend meetings, training, and support safety
programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in occupational health and
Safety or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 6 months’ manufacturing health & safety
experience.
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification or the
ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations, worker’s
Compensation laws, and safety audit programs.
