Safety Coordinator
Summary
Oversee workplace safety at construction sites by conducting daily inspections, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with Singapore’s WSH Act and OSHA standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Comply and assist in implementing the requirements of the WSH Act and all its subsidiary and statutory legal legislations.
- Inspection of site daily and take appropriate corrective actions, prepares inspection report for project team to take an immediate action.
- To investigate accidents / incidents / dangerous occurrences & put up reports & recommend remedial actions.
- Conduct in-house safety orientation for all new joiners to the site, and also conduct daily tool box meeting.
- Inspect project sites to ensure safety measures are being carried out at all times.
- To conduct risk assessment and identify safety hazards on site
- Work closely with WSHO and safety personnel to ensure safety are compliance
- Any ad-hoc job assigned by superior
- To participate in mass safety talk, tool box meeting and
housekeeping.
Requirements
- WSQ in Workplace Safety and Health.
- WSQ Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
- Minimum 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Knowledge of ISO and OSHA safety standard.
- Team oriented, attentive to details and organized.
- A fast worker who is able to deliver under tight timelines.
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
