Safety Engineer (Physical Security / Data Center)

We are hiring Safety Engineers to support physical security operations and security management across international data center environments in Europe.

This role is responsible for ensuring site physical security compliance, coordinating security operations, driving execution of security standards, and maintaining stable and secure site operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure physical security management and operational compliance across assigned data center sites
• Manage personnel and asset access control processes and ensure all site access activities follow company standards
• Coordinate on-site security arrangements and supervise security execution quality
• Drive implementation and delivery of physical security KPIs and operational standards
• Track, manage, and close security incidents through end-to-end follow-up processes
• Support and coordinate major events, business continuity activities, and emergency response operations
• Work closely with Security Operations Center (SOC) teams to respond to alarms, incidents, and site security events
• Build collaboration across cross-functional teams and drive alignment to achieve operational goals
• Support regional security teams in implementing security frameworks and ensuring execution consistency
• Coordinate resources, establish action plans, and lead security-related improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Property Management, Security Management, Safety Engineering, Facility Management, or related disciplines
• Experience in physical security, property management, facility security, industrial security, or related operational environments
• Familiarity with industry-standard security management systems and security operating procedures
• Strong incident response and emergency management capability
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
• Ability to drive projects through communication, resource coordination, and execution management
• Strong team coordination and leadership capability
• Excellent communication skills in multicultural environments
• Chinese language capability is required
• English proficiency is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data centers, industrial sites, critical infrastructure, or high-security environments
• Experience managing security vendors or local security teams
• Experience with physical security technologies and SOC collaboration
• International project experience is preferred
