Safety Engineer / Specialist (1 year contract)

We want you to:

• Investigate the causes of occupational accidents and occupational diseases in the workplace and work on the measures to be taken in order not to repeat them
• Participate in the preparation of emergency plans at the workplace, to monitor and control the periodical trainings and exercises on this subject and to monitor the emergency plan
• Plan, implement or control the occupational health and safety training of employees in accordance with the relevant legislation. To prepare the annual evaluation report and annual work plans
• Basic knowledge about sprinkler and gas type firefighting systems
• Investigating the causes of events that have the potential to cause harm to the employee, equipment or workplace and report to the management

You will also need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Environment, Industry or related engineering departments
• Minimum 2 years of field experience in Occupational Health & Safety
• Having B or C class Occupational Safety Specialist certificate
• Fluent in English for global working environment
• Excellent command of MS Office programs
• Reside/Willing to reside in Kocaeli
