hire a passionate and dedicated Safety Installer to join their experienced
team.
About the Position…
The company is looking for a suitably experienced person to take on the
role of Safety Installer. The position will be based in Lonsdale, Adelaide. For
you to be successful in this role, you will need to be a self-motivated,
customer-focused individual with high leadership potential. You must be a
self-starter committed to a high-standard of work and be able to demonstrate a
commitment to workplace safety.
Specific responsibilities for this role will include:
- Installation of height safety equipment
including: Anchor Points, Ladders, Guardrail Systems, Walkway Systems,
Platforms, and Static Lines.
- Inspections and Certification of new and existing
systems.
- Completing onsite WHS Requirements such as JSA,
SWMS, Permits, Toolbox/Prestart.
- Maintaining site/project records and daily
reporting to the Operations team.
- Complying with Relevant Australian Standards,
Codes of Practice, WHS Acts and Regulations
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
- Previous Height Safety Installation/Inspection
experience
- Experience working within the Construction
industry
- Must have a Construction White Card
- Must have Working at Heights Training
- EWP or WP Licence
- Ability to read and understand plans/drawings
- Applicants with a trade background, particularly
in Roofing and Carpentry, will be highly regarded
- Positive attitude and good problem solver
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit
