Safety Intern

Mativ is currently searching for a Safety Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. This internship position is an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to corporate EHS strategic initiatives, and the important factors that make them successful. We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven intern to support the corporate environmental, health, and safety leadership team in deployment of key initiatives at the Mativ’s Neenah Mill in Neenah, WI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or contribute to defined projects focused on improved EHS data collection, management, communication, from facility to enterprise – level,
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship,
• Develop working knowledge of federal, state and local environmental, health & safety regulations,
• Interact with site EHS leaders and corporate staff on various projects and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum GPA-3.0.
• Prior Internship or work experience in a safety related position
