Safety Officer (1-Year Contract) - WEST/ Manufacturing MNC #HHL
Description
Location: Lakeside
Salary: $6,000 per month
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.10am–5.30pm
Job Responsibilities
Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.
Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards and follow up on corrective actions.
Conduct and review risk assessments and implement safety measures.
Coordinate safety orientations, toolbox meetings and training.
Investigate incidents and near misses, and maintain safety reports and records.
Work with contractors and project teams to improve site safety.
Requirements
Valid Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) qualification/certificate.
Minimum 3 years of relevant safety experience in engineering, construction or project environments.
Good knowledge of workplace safety practices and risk assessments.
Work at Height, Confined Space or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
Able to meet project site access and security clearance requirements.
