Safety Officer

• Implement and monitor HSE policies across oil and gas operations and site activities • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and risk assessments • Ensure full compliance with Qatar energy sector regulations and HSE standards • Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and safety awareness training • Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems to ensure safe work practices • Investigate incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions • Maintain accurate HSE documentation and prepare reports • Coordinate effectively with site teams, contractors and client representatives

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Qatar as a Safety officer in Oil and gas projects (Mandatory) • NEBOSH (International General Certificate) (Mandatory certification) • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, PTW systems and risk management practices • Familiarity with Qatar Labor Law and industry safety standards • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage) • Proven ability to enforce and promote a zero-incident safety culture
