Safety Officer
Summary
Oversee workplace safety at construction sites in Singapore, ensuring WSH compliance, conducting inspections, and training teams on PPE and risk management.
Well-establised local M&E looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join us. He/She will be responsible for ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company policies.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
- Organize safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions.
- Monitor and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Liaise with authorities, contractors, and project teams to ensure site safety.
- Maintain and update safety documentation and reports.
Requirements:
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or higher.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction or engineering industry.
- Familiar with Sinagpore safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Strong self-discipline.
- Experience with Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects is an advantage.
