SAFETY OFFICER
Summary
Oversee construction site safety by enforcing WSH policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce workplace safety and health policies at construction sites.
- Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH regulations and MOM requirements.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and unsafe practices; prepare reports and corrective actions.
- Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and safety training.
- Monitor workers’ compliance with PPE and safety procedures.
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and government authorities on safety matters.
- Maintain proper safety records and documentation.
JobRequirements
- Possess valid Singapore registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) certification.
- Minimum experience in construction site safety management preferred.
- Familiar with Singapore WSH Act and construction safety regulations.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and manage site safety effectively.
