Responsibilities:
- NEBOSH certificate-level qualifications in health and safety
- Safety and firefighting equipment
- Hazard identification, risk analysis and risk reduction/mitigation methods, systems, tools
- Job safety analysis
- Supervise, direct, guide team to perform work safely
- Safety incident investigation, analysis and root cause problem solving methods, systems, tools
- Incident response – incident investigation, finding collection, facts and purpose, corrective actions, and implementation
- Report writing, presentation
- Shall have a working knowledge of MS Office (at least Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good HSEQ record in past working experience
- ISO 45001
Qualifications:
- Advanced diploma or equivalent (12+3 years)
- Five years relevant experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer industry and competency
- Valid certificate permitting work as safety officer in large oil and gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer plants from competent and certified agency
