Responsibilities:

• NEBOSH certificate-level qualifications in health and safety
• Safety and firefighting equipment
• Hazard identification, risk analysis and risk reduction/mitigation methods, systems, tools
• Job safety analysis
• Supervise, direct, guide team to perform work safely
• Safety incident investigation, analysis and root cause problem solving methods, systems, tools
• Incident response – incident investigation, finding collection, facts and purpose, corrective actions, and implementation
• Report writing, presentation
• Shall have a working knowledge of MS Office (at least Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good HSEQ record in past working experience
• ISO 45001

Qualifications:

• Advanced diploma or equivalent (12+3 years)
• Five years relevant experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer industry and competency
• Valid certificate permitting work as safety officer in large oil and gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer plants from competent and certified agency
