Safety Officer

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE construction experience, including proven experience in high-rise tower construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations, HSE procedures, and risk assessment requirements.
• Experience in working at heights, scaffolding, tower cranes, lifting operations, formwork, and concrete works.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work systems, toolbox talks, site inspections, incident investigation, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to prepare risk assessments, method statement reviews, safety reports, and HSE documentation.
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and site workers.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Skills

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies on high-rise tower construction sites.
• Conduct site safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and project HSE requirements.
• Monitor work at height, scaffolding, tower cranes, and lifting operations.
• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, risk assessments, and HSE reports.
