Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Management System.
Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and its subsidiary legislation.
Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Recommend and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Conduct safety induction, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare investigation reports.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities on WSH matters.
Prepare and maintain safety records, reports, permits, and documentation.
Monitor subcontractors' compliance with site safety requirements.
Assist in emergency preparedness planning and emergency response exercises.
Promote a positive safety culture across all project sites

Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore.
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
Familiar with WSH Act, Environmental Public Health Act, and Code of Practice.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
