Safety Officer (WSHO)

We specialize in pharmaceutical facility engineering and installation, delivering compliant and high-quality solutions for cleanrooms, process piping, and other specialized facility systems.

Job Summary

You will lead safety coordination efforts in process and construction projects, advising management on risk measures, investigating incidents, ensuring compliance with OSH regulations, and liaising with regulatory bodies to uphold workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Advise project managers and management on safety and risk mitigation measures to ensure a safe working environment
• Investigate workplace accidents and prepare detailed reports for management and relevant authorities
• Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor safety compliance and identify potential safety hazards
• Intervene promptly to stop unsafe activities or operations to protect workers and assets
• Liaise and report to official regulatory bodies on Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) matters to ensure compliance
• Apply in-depth knowledge of OSH guidelines and practices to enforce safety standards on site
• Communicate safety policies and advisory information effectively to diverse teams and stakeholders
• Demonstrate attentiveness, diligence, and cooperation in executing safety responsibilities

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Certified and registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WHSO Licence)
• ECO Licence
• 2-3 years of working experience in chemical process environments
• Proficiency in English/Mandarin is preferred, as the role may require communication with Chinese-speaking colleagues, contractors, and fabrication teams.
• Willing to work on-site at the project site in Tuas.
• Company shuttle bus is available from Lakeside MRT Station.

• Annual leave starting from 10 days, increasing progressively to 16 days.
