What You Will Do

  • Secure the Campus: Maintain a safe environment by conducting routine center-wide security tours, managing visitor control, and handling student accountability.

  • Investigate & Prevent: Look into campus incidents or accidents under management direction, prepare detailed reports, and recommend smart corrective actions.

  • Hazard Spotting: Perform routine safety inspections of equipment and facilities to proactively identify and eliminate security or health risks.

  • Respond to Emergencies: Take swift, appropriate action during urgent situations, serving as a reliable point of contact for staff and students.

  • Support Campus Life: Enforce occupational safety standards, help dorm staff with inspections, and provide occasional residential or transportation assistance.

  • Mentor Future Professionals: Act as a positive role model by modeling Career Success Standards, showing respect, and holding students accountable for their actions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (Advanced degrees preferred).

  • Prior experience with Job Corps or a similar youth/community program is highly preferred.

  • Valid in-state Driver’s License with a driving record meeting company insurability requirements.

  • Physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively share ideas, document incidents, and solve problems.
