About the Role
Amaiden is seeking an SSHE Manager to provide safety, security, health, and environmental leadership, ensuring teams have the tools, support, and direction needed to achieve SSHE goals and priorities — overseeing OIMS implementation, safety systems, incident investigation, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Set safety culture and oversee the safety of direct reports
- Manage OIMS implementation to meet corporate expectations
- Develop and steward safety management systems, reporting, and incident investigation
- Liaise across units on SSHE best practices and continuous improvement
- Advise senior management on site/unit-specific SSHE issues
- Facilitate risk assessment and management, and steward results
- Steward regulatory compliance and external stakeholder assessments
- Promote collaboration, teamwork, and a courage-of-conviction culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree required
- Experience in a multicultural/multilingual, emerging nation environment
- Experience in safety-related positions (oil & gas experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of emergency preparedness, incident investigation, OIMS, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Extensive knowledge of security processes and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellence in project SSHE performance
- Ability to work independently and set priorities in a team environment
